After a miraculous escape, he transforms himself into the mysterious and wealthy Count of Monte Cristo, insinuates himself into the French nobility, and puts his cunning plan of reprisal in action. He then becomes consumed by thoughts of vengeance. I can tell you that The Count of Monte Cristo tells the story of the dashing and guileless Edmond Dantes (Jim Caviezel) who is betrayed by his best friend ( Guy Pearce) and wrongly imprisoned. THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO BLU RAY MOVIEI have no idea how true to the book the movie is or what important plot points were left out (if any). The third thing is the book which I admit I’ve never read. Every time I watch the movie I think to myself,” I really liked that” and I wonder why I don’t watch it more often. THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO BLU RAY FREEThe Blu-ray transfer is questionable at best due to the upscale, which sacrifices the detail on the animation so if you have access to an NTSC DVD then feel free to hold on to that. The show has a unique presentation where the characters and designs use a wallpaper-esque look to it which makes it stand out among the rest of the anime when it had aired.
